Specialist Teacher Assessments for Access Arrangements and Reasonable Adjustments (AARA) can be provided to schools across Essex and London in order to provide the core evidence from psychometric tests necessary for Form 8.
The service provided to centres is highly specialised and extends beyond testing and administration. Schools and Colleges are supported throughout the complete AARA process, from identifying learners that require potentially require access arrangements to completion of the Form 8 and online applications, including GDPR.
Lisa Cooper provides a specialist consultancy in the area of AARA and this service includes extensive support and advice to centres as part of the working relationship. This includes advice on policies and annual updates to JCQ guidelines and processes.
Quotations are available for schools and colleges. Please email lisacooper@education-matters.net
We are unable to offer full diagnostic assessments at the present time. Please check back for further updates.
Assessing for Exam Access Arrangements is unaffected, and private assessments for Access Arrangements and Reasonable adjustments are continuing.

Transformational Life Coaching and Personal Mentoring has the potential to transform. One to one sessions offer a time to explore and consider how we live our lives using a range of approaches, including cognitive and behavioural theories, in a supportive non-judgemental environment that uses evidenced based practice in a relaxed, informal way.
Life coaching is not counselling - it is an opportunity to explore your goals and ambitions. Making time for yourself and investing in yourself is often overlooked. Life Coaching and Mentoring can address areas such as: Confidence, dating & relationships, family, jobs and careers.
Counselling provides a safe, impartial and confidential space in which to explore your feelings in a confidential setting, safe in the knowledge that what you say will be respectfully listened to.
All of us at some point in our lives will experience times when we feel that we are overwhelmed or cannot cope. These feelings often impact on other areas of our life. These feelings may affect our academic studies, our relationship with others, or our personal life, to the extent that we feel unable to live in a successful or satisfactory way. This may be the time to seek out a counsellor.
Feelings such as anger, grief, anxiety and loneliness can be distressing and cause anguish, especially if they have been with us for a long period of time. Counselling can help you to explore and reflect upon these feelings. It can help you to understand what is at the root of the concern, and can help you to work towards resolving these difficulties.
